VEO llms.txt creates the PrestaShop llms.txt file following the llmstxt.org proposal: a Markdown summary of your shop, categories, products and information pages, written for language models to read. Free and compatible with PrestaShop 9.
What llms.txt is and why it matters
More and more customers ask an AI assistant where to buy something. Just as robots.txt guides search engines, llms.txt gives AI a clean index of what matters on your site, without menus, scripts or ads. It is an open proposal, not yet a standard: it costs little to have and gets the shop ready for what is coming.
What the file includes
- Shop name and a summary (or the home page meta description).
- Optional text: shipping zones, delivery times, returns, physical store.
- Active categories with their description.
- Featured products (home page ones first) and, in llms-full.txt, the whole catalog.
- Information and contact pages.
Features
- Generated automatically and refreshed when the catalog changes, with a cache to spare the server.
- At the standard address:
/llms.txtand/llms-full.txt. - If the shop has no friendly URLs, a button writes the files to the root.
- Preview from the back office.
Compatibility
Compatible with PrestaShop 9 (tested on 9.2.0). No overrides.
Installation
Upload the ZIP from Modules > Module Manager, write a summary if you like and open your-shop.com/llms.txt.
Frequently asked questions
Does it improve my Google rankings?
It is not a Google ranking factor. It gives AI assistants that read it a clear, up-to-date summary of your shop.
Does it expose private information?
No. It only includes what is already public in the shop: active categories and products and visible CMS pages.
What if I have thousands of products?
llms.txt lists featured products to stay short; the whole catalog goes into llms-full.txt, generated with a cache.
