VEO Product Configurator turns any product into a made-to-measure product: add size fields, options and extras, compute the price with a formula and carry the configuration through to the invoice. Compatible with PrestaShop 9.
Who it is for
Shops that sell to size or to order: awnings, blinds and curtains, glass and mirrors, worktops, furniture, textiles, vinyl and signs, engravings. PrestaShop only knows fixed combinations; with free sizes, combinations do not work.
Features
- Fields per product: numbers (sizes, quantities) with min, max and unit; drop-downs and buttons with options that change the price; checkboxes for extras and text for engravings or signs.
- Formula pricing: for example
max(width * height / 10000, 1) * 45 * fabricto charge per m² with a 1 m² minimum. Functionsmin,max,ceil,floor,round,absandif. - Live price on the product page, the same as in the cart.
- Cart, order and invoice show the chosen configuration, using PrestaShop customizations.
- Works with discounts, taxes and combinations.
- Field and formula editor in each product's Modules tab.
Compatibility
Compatible with PrestaShop 9 (tested on 9.2.0 with the Hummingbird theme). No overrides: it uses the core customization system.
Installation
Upload the ZIP from Modules > Module Manager, open a product, Modules tab, and add its fields and formula.
Frequently asked questions
Can I charge per square metre or per linear metre?
Yes. The formula uses the fields you define: width times height for m², the sum of sides for linear metres, and you can set a minimum with max.
Can the cart price differ from the product page?
No. The server recalculates the formula on add to cart, so the price cannot be tampered with from the browser.
Does it work with PrestaShop discounts?
Yes. The surcharge is added as a customization and taxes, cart rules and specific prices apply to it like everything else.
